And remember folks: telling people on Yahoo to "Google" something is as retarded as telling somebody at Best Buy to look for printers at Staples instead of aisle 10. Yahoo IS a search engine.

If you can identify what certain symbols mean for you start writing them down. The best way to know what symbols mean to you is to feel how you react to them. State in your own mind what symbol you want for certain aspects of your life, i.e a red rose can be symbolic of relationships, a sunrise can be symbolic of new beginnings and so on.

So interpreting dreams is a dangerous business. People make money off of others and their miseries of life, the hopes of the knight on a white horse, or even having "visions" that we are even the answer to the all the religious problems out there. Many a false prophet lived on dreams even from angels and disregarded the moral & ethical standards they were given to live by to ride out their dream of being a hero.
Even in the Bible, dreams are seen as a real problem in trying to figure out what we should do or not when we awake. In other words, what’s wrong with our world is not a matter of substance, but a matter of perception: the fact that we’re not seeing things the way they truly are. Like in a bad dream where everything is wrong even as deep down we know it’s just an illusion. No matter how ugly and terrifying a dream is, no matter how distorted its perception of reality, it is never "unrealistic" to expect it to be replaced by a sane, beautiful world. On the contrary: it is the dream that is unreal, and the most realistic thing is to expect its distorted perspective to be replaced, by a single act of waking, with an undistorted vision of the real world. But we want meaning to even the green guys with purple eyes we see in our dreams, but our experiences we think as real in dreams is only an illusion and combination of everything we have known in our life & then some.
There is a powerful metaphor in Psalm 126 that can help us understand — and more importantly, do — something about this state of being. It begins, "When God will return the exiles of Zion we will [see our experiences in exile] as having been dreamers". The nature of sleep and its unique attendant experience — dreaming — holds the key to understanding our exile here on this earth in this time, in this body that holds the souls of our Godliness as it expands to touch us even in our dreams. When we sleep we are most certainly alive. Our brain is functioning, as is the rest of the body. However, according to esoteric knowledge of the "Book of Creation" & sages of the Bible, all psychological and physiological aspects of sleep and dreaming flow from a spiritual dynamic, good and bad.

The sages say that "Sleep is one sixtieth of death." Death is the complete withdrawal of the soul from the body, permanently disconnecting them. In sleep, the soul remains within the body, giving it life — but at a distance. The primary life force of the soul that vitalizes the mind and the higher faculties withdraws, leaving behind only a trace of vitality — just enough to keep the body and basic brain functions going.
In the absence of higher rational thought, various memories fill the mind at random, and from the confluence of these memories, we create most of our dreams. Since the rational powers are not there to "police" what we see, we conflate different and contradictory ideas to create visions of the impossible.
In a dream, we can be simultaneously old and young, in two different places at the same time, or in the presence of two people one of whom died before the other was born. All contradictions "fit" in a dream. It is only when we wake up that we realize that what we saw could never be or have been.
But we still want to know what our dreams mean no matter how rational the sages are about them & how they explain to us not to rely on them for future decision, we don’t like not knowing. Therefore, there are many people out there willing to take your money to tell you things you want to know or not want to face. But the real truth is from inside yourself and how you face and deal with life as a human that wants to be spiritual and yet so naturally your own person with your own needs and desires. See Chabad.org on dreams, free and will help you find answers to those dreams that even haunt you. Good luck.
