I dreamt I adopted a baboon as a pet. Dream dictionary says it’s good luck. What do you think?

   I think, you are having fears and reservations about children. Perhaps fear of motherhood. Owning a baboon does not seem lucky to me. Self wisdom could be involved. Your consciousness. Majestic or a magical wisdom could be involved with the baboon.

   While dreaming about baboons can represent good luck, there is also the action in your dream to look at. You adopted the baboon. In general dreaming about animals aside from any pets you have usually represents a fear on your part. Considering that in your dream you adopted it, it could mean that you have a fear of children, of being close to children, having children or all three possibly.

   Without knowing you, it’s possible if several people in your life have recently had children you may be feeling a subconscious feeling of pressures to have a child of your own.

   Primates in dreams represent the wild, more instinctive side of humanity. It may be you are considering ‘adopting’ or acquiring some of the qualities of the baboon.
