Hi Aiouchia. Frederick Perls, who developed Gestalt Therapy asked his clients to “become” or to “speak as” the different parts of the dream. Using his method I would say, “i am a microwave. I shut the door and hold things in. When I do I heat up and then I blow up!” I would ask myself who I am feeling so angry with that I would like to explode! For example? Are you angry with your mom?
Question from Aiouchia: uhhhh Layne ive had a dream that my microwave blew up and my momm died then she was a ghost then i had the dream two more times. what does that mean???
If this was my dream, and I did not know how to swim…I would be asking myself what am I feeling apprehensive about? What task or situation am I in, in which I am worried because I don’t have any experience…Could it be a new job? A new approach?

The good question is what do YOU think of when you think of horses?? Do you like horses? Have you ever ridden a horse? Was it a fun experience or not?
I dreamt of horses trying to come into my front and back doors (never dreamt of horses before!) A baby fole was also in the kitchen before I went to another room to get away???? What do horses mean?

How do you feel when you have this dream? Free? Like you are your true “naked” self with noting to hide? This is a wonderful image. If it was my dream, I think I might have this dream..a)when I felt free to be myself with someone b) when I WANT to feel free to be myself, and/or c) when I need to get back in touch with my carefree self…like maybe stepping away from my desk and work to take a break and have some fun!

So if dreams are about something of the last 24 hours, the thing about which the dream is, may have developed much longer than 24 hours ago. What happens 24 hours ago is offering an entrance to those associations.
