Primates in dreams represent the wild, more instinctive side of humanity. Different primates may represent various qualities; the chimp is mischievious and clever, the ape or gorilla a powerful force and the baboon is fierce and protective of it's own. It may be you are considering 'adopting' or acquiring some of the qualities of the baboon. This is a very positive dream depending on the overall tone of the dream, but luck might be a misleading word.

My husband and I were moving into a octagonal (8 sided) house with glass walls located high up on a bluff over-looking the Gulf of Mexico...The water stretched outward under the sun, sparkling...we were hanging wooden bench swings on the deck...I said "This one must face SW and this one must face SE"...my parents drifted through and then my husband's best friend, who announced he was moving in with us...I told him "No! You will have to move out within 1 to 6 weeks!" and my husband agreed...so any thoughts on the meaning of this dream? ha ha! Odd dream...I dreamed all night long but this is what I remember the most....

I've had similar dreams to this, and here's what I think.

You are a strong lady who knows her own mind. I think you were overriding sensations of lust with proper reasoning inyour dream. When we don't face things in daily life, they will tend to come back into our dreams to haunt us.

You are in a very warm, if not decidedly hot, place. You're swinging things 'down south'. You mentioned an ogtagonal house - did your sleeping mind come up with eight (ate). Lust is a simple instinct or hunger common to us all (or the human race would not exist!).

Also, you were in a glass house and everybody you cared for could see what was going on inside. Are you really that see-through? Perhaps in daily life you are aware that others are picking up on a slightly increased chemistry between your husband's friend and yourself.

You told the friend in your dream that he would have to leave in a set amount of time. You know, deep down inside, that any fleeting chemistry between you and another man other than your husband is just that - fleeting.

I congratulate you on your strong marriage and family, and also your strong mind!

The class was advertised by a female dream analyist who is a dream analyst to the celebreties. This woman appeared on Good Morning America or a similar show - does anyone know who I am talking about or the website?

no sorry I don't what is the name of the web site Try posting your dream on Dreamcrowd for a free interpretation.

How to Remember Your Dreams

The Knight's Dream

Image via Wikipedia

When beginning the steps towards translating your dreams, many of us find it useful to keep a notebook a dream book, if you'll right next to your bed with a pen or pencil.

As fast as you are physically able, commence your book. Note down your dream as shortly as you remember it. Write down everything you remember, regardless of if it isn't making sense. Most frequently, the parts that do not sound correct or are misplaced are the most valuable. Each detail, even the minutest part in your dream is vital and must be considered when researching your dreams. Look closely at the characters, animals, objects, places, feelings, and even color and numbers that are showed in your dreams. Ask, "What does this remind me of?" jot down the first thing that comes to mind.

This could likely be the genuine situation in your life that's designated in the dream.

What did that real-world situation lead you to feel like? If this is the same feeling represented in your dream, you are on the right track.

Often when there's more than one part to your dream ( more than one story line ) that generally means there are two things your subconscious is trying to tell you. Remember that we have between 4 and 7 dreams per night. If you wake up from a dream, jot it down. Don't roll over and return to sleep. If you do not jot it down, you can never remember it in the morning! At the least, you can note down the basic idea of the dream and go back in the morning to fill in the rest of the details like feelings, and so on. Suggest to oneself constantly as you go to sleep, "I am going to remember my dreams." Say this time after time. Your sub-conscious will act on this delicate idea. Practice enthusiastic observation in your dreams thru self-suggestion before sleep. When a difficulty confronts you, you may wish to ask by prayer for steering to be sent to you thru your dreams. Trust your instincts! If something appears important, it likely is. Try not to let your logical side take over. So you have your dreams down on paper. Where do you go next? The very next step would be interpretation.
