Dreams are very important happenings within the brain.They have always been the focus of curiosity, interest and quest of the human mind. Now dreams can be of different types like prophetic dreams, intuition dreams or lucid dreams. The dream may be a precursor of the important things and events that are about to happen in your life. Sources of Dreams

Your dreams can come from 3 sources:

(i) God (ii) Satan (iii) The flesh

When a dream is from God, it encourages, assures, comforts, directs, instructs, guides, corrects and reveals.

When a dream is from the enemy, Satan, it is absurd, mysterious, unreasonable, confusing and terrifying

When it comes from your flesh, it generally mirrors what's been occupying your thoughts throughout the day, e.g. egative news from the media, idle conversations.

Danger of NOT dreaming

If you feel you don't dream at all, the real problem is that of recall. If you cannot recall your dreams when you wake up, you face a double danger:

- If God wants to speak to you, you will not hear.
- The enemy's presence and activities in your life will remain largely undetected.

The Result?

1. you'll be clueless about the things happening to you, your finances, health and marriage.

2. you may end up living from crisis to crisis, and wondering why your prayers are not working.

Here are more of those dreams that have serious spiritual implications:

You have to rebuke him/her in the name of the LORD. Attack this spirit with all the weapons you know about. Bind and stop the spirit from visiting you again.

Please be sure that you are NOT engaged in the sin of fornication or adultery - even in your heart. These 2 sins act like magnets, helping to attract them to you.

Dream #2 - one recurring dream

If you have discovered that anytime you want to touch or start something good, a particular dream comes up which always results in rendering all your efforts futile, you are suffering from what we call "The Demonic Stabilizer."

This dream stabilizes you and keeps you at the same level. You must use the weapon of praying and fasting. This stabilizing influence may not affect your entire life, but it is a hindrance to your progress and fulfillment in life. You need to break the yoke behind it and set yourself free.

Dream #3 - wedding dress

If you dream of people stealing your wedding dress, or soiling it (like stained with blood or in rags), it is a vicious attack on your marriage.

You must go into fasting and prayer very quickly and command the wedding gown to be returned. Then go ahead and claim God's promises for your marriage.

Dream #4 - being naked

If you find yourself naked in the dream, it is a sign of disgrace or insecurity (i.e. the enemy is planning to disgrace you publicly).

You must ask the Holy Spirit to clothe you and remove any object of disgrace from your life.

Dream #5 - traffic jam

If you drove your car in the dream in a traffic jam which stood still until you woke up, it is symbolic of a major plan to hinder you from getting what God wants to give you. This is the kind of dream that shows you the devil's strategy against your life.

Ask the Holy Spirit to send His troopers there and clear the way for you.

If you frequently see yourself in funeral services, the enemy is pursuing you with the spirit of death, period.

What to do

You have to disband the funeral service and 'deal with the priest who is conducting it. You should also withdraw yourself from the service. It is not of God. The people who are there are only pretending to be your relatives or church members. They are all satanic agents.

Dream #7 - eating in the dream

If you find yoursef eating in the dream (no matter what it is) it shows you that your spiritual life is being poisoned. You may even be eating human flesh (Ps 27:2) without knowing it. This is how terrible diseases are introduced into the lives of people - when they are asleep and maybe even spiritually dull!

What to do

You have to ask the Holy Spirit to purge you immediately. This is where you need to learn to activate the cleansing power in the blood of Jesus, and use it aggresively!

Listen carefully. If you are a child of God, you should NOT experience these kinds of dreams. But most Christians are still having them as a result of ignorance, carelessness or prayerlessness.

You may be asking: "But I've had these types of dreams for so many years without doing anything about it. Can I still rectify things and undo what Satan has done?"

I have good news for you. The answer is: "Yes, you can!"

In our waking life, we go to places for a reason. We go to the cinema to watch a film (and possibly to hold hands with our date), we go to the park to take the day off and play a ballgame with friends (or ogle good-looking people), we go to the beach to dig our toes in the sand and take a dip in the waters (or again, ogle good-looking people). In these days of busy lifestyle, few of us waste time going to places where we have no business. Which is why we should be thankful that when we dream, we have the luxury of going to places we have never been before.

Desert

Field

Intuition is a real cognitive process.

If you have asked a question when you have had a particularly vivid dream about whether that dream might be trying to tell you something, you are not alone.  Most of us have the kind of dreams every so often that seem full of meaning.  The feeling of waking up feeling a sense of urgency because our dreams were trying to communicate something important to us is a common experience in all people.  We don't often talk about how powerful our dreams affect us like this because we don’t want our friends to think we are crazy.  But we store away these questions in our minds and in our hearts and the wondering about what we dream can become a haunting area of missing knowledge that you would feel so much better if you understood it all.

It helps to think through where dreams come from in the first place.  Psychologists tell us that we have another entire side to our minds, which is our subconscious side.  We know that is true because that side of our minds is so active all the time.  In fact, experts in sleep and dream research tell us that when our conscious mind takes a break, the subconscious mind is very active processing all of the information and events of the day and what is going on in our lives. 

They tell us also that the subconscious is as much a part of how we make decisions and "think and feel" about things as the conscious mind we think with.  Both sides of our personalities are always communicating in ways that we cannot always understand or even recognize.  Sometimes that feeling of having a "gut feel" about a decision is coming from your subconscious mind.  But psychologists also tell us that dreams is another way that the subconscious is presenting information to the conscious side of our brains and that there can be a lot of information and meaning in those dreams.

It might be pushing it to say your subconscious is "trying to tell you something" in your dreams.  Instead, there is good reason to believe that your subconscious is always communicating to you and dreams are one of the ways it expresses itself.  That means there may be lots to learn from dreams that can tell you about yourself and about your "true feelings" in regards to relationships, job, you worries and stresses and what is going on in the world.  And if there is information in your subconscious that can help you cope with those big challenges in life, why not understand it and put it to work by learning what dreams are saying and what we can learn from them?

Have you ever put up with a repeated dream?  Most of us have had them from time to time.  The very fact that it is a dream that you know repeats means it is a dream you remember.  We know that we all dream lots of dreams throughout a given night of sleep.  But only a few dreams poke through to our conscious mind so we are aware of them.  So if a dream can break through that barrier, that is a persistent dream that has more power than most dreams because it can blow down that wall between sleep and being awake and get your attention.

If a dream blows down that wall over and over again, that is the kind of dream that is really trying to get your attention.  So if you can find out what the meaning of that dream is, the first good of it is that it will help you resolve whatever your subconscious is trying to tell you to fix.  But maybe the best outcome is that when you resolve whatever is so important to your subconscious that it keeps barging into your conscious mind, that dream can finally go away.  And in most cases, we are darn glad to see those repeated dreams disappear.

To try to "decipher" what your subconscious is trying to say, first put the dream, whether it is a one time dream that was disturbing or a repeating dream, in the context of your life.  If you think about your dreams or you keep a dream journal (which is a very good idea), you will identify connections between events that happened the day before the dream or within a week that are directly connected to the dream.  Hence, if you are going to start a new job, move to a new town or start a new school, you will often have a dream where you are in a place you don’t understand and you are trying to figure it out.

There isn’t a lot of action you need to take about that kind of dream.  But it helps to understand that your subconscious mind is just coping with the same level of anxiety that your conscious mind is trying to get through.  By knowing the simple meaning of that dream, you can see what is going on in your subconscious and you can make the connection to your real life.

The subconscious "thinks" in ideas and emotions and reactions to events.  Fears, doubts, misgivings, hurt feelings, myths and paranoia will all live full lives in your subconscious mind.  By connecting those images to the real life events that caused those feelings and emotional thoughts, you can resolve the emotional difficulty in your subconscious simply by "having a good talk" with yourself.  And when you do that, you release your subconscious to tackle the next big problem in your life.  That is good management of your dream life by knowing the meaning of dreams and what to do about them.
